Abdominoplasty (Tummy tuck)
Everybody wants to have a flat, firm tummy. However, in reality, few succeed. Every significant weight loss, pregnancies, and simple ageing takes toll. The skin, particularly in the stomach area, becomes loose or excessive. Sometimes even to such extent that loose skin hangs over the waistline. No exercise program can correct it. Plastic surgery offers a solution.
The procedure is called abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck. An incision is made across the lower abdomen, just above the pubis, in a so-called “bikini line”, and around the belly button. The surgeon separates the excessive skin together with the fat tissue from the abdominal muscle layer beneath. After inspecting the muscles and repairing any irregularities, the surgeon pulls the excess skin downwards and from the sides towards the midline. After inserting the belly button into the new position, incisions are closed with sutures. The surgeon inserts small drain tubes to remove any fluids that collects after surgery and places you in a special supporting garment. The operation takes about two to three hours and is done under general anaesthesia.
This is often combined with traditional liposuction to help remove any localised pockets of fat in the abdomen, hips and flanks.
Surgery of labia minora (Labiaplasty)
Many women dislike the large protuberant appearance of their labia minora and wish to change their appearance. In some instances, women with large labia can experience pain during intercourse, or feel discomfort during everyday activities or when wearing tight-fitting clothing. Others may feel unattractive, or wish to enhance their sexual experiences by removing some of the skin that covers the clitoris
Labiaplasty (or labioplasty), is a surgical procedure that will reduce and reshape the labia minora. The purpose of a labiaplasty is to better define the inner labia.
Labia majora augmentation using body’s own fat
Some women, especially after slimming, experience a reduction in the size of the Labia Majora, which no longer cover the small labia.
It is possible to increase the volume using a targeted injection of fat taken from another part of the patient’s body – belly, hips, and other locations. Sometimes it is also possible to use a filler product made of natural cell and tissue components that, after injection, forms a tissue that is soft and comparable to normal skin tissue.
Fat tissue taken from other body areas is filtered and injected, according to a specific pattern, into the labia majora. The result lasts for a limited time and the procedure can be repeated several times.
